Charquita Arnold
Peace family! My name is Charquita Arnold and I’m a fierce advocate for student rights, social Justice, and racial equity. Im a middle/high school teacher and plc lead at CCPA in Oakland, CA. My investment in the success of underserved students is immensely personal and communal. I know what lack of success means for Black and Brown students and I feel deeply about that reality. Growing up in southwest Atlanta I got to see the grim and great possibilities. I saw the terror the system creates and sustained for my people. Great programs helped me see examples of what I could have if I made it out. I vowed to work to dismantle the oppressive system and help people spread their wings…get liberated. I will be Dr. Arnold in like 3 months but I won’t stop learning. Education is my everything. I enjoy writing and performing the spoken word, hip hop step aerobics, and reading.
