Kanesha Patterson teaches Pre-k/Kindergarten at Van Winkle Early Childhood Center in Jackson, Ms., where she serves as the district’s Virtual Pre-k/kindergarten teacher. She has also taught grades 1st - 4th. Mrs. Patterson has 15 years of teaching experience. She is also a teacher Ambassador for Donor’s Choose where she helps teachers throughout the district get much needed funding for their classrooms. She is currently a fellow with the Social Emotional Learning Change Agent (SELCA) Cohort of Leading Educators through Teach+Plus. She previously taught Special Education where she served as an advocate for Children with disabilities. Mrs. Patterson graduated from Jackson State University with a Masters in Elementary Education. She is currently completing a specialist degree in Instructional Leadership.
