Roxanne Kymaani

Roxanne J. Kymaani Ph.D., joined the National Equity Project in July, 2021. Her previous work includes Kymaani Catalyst Consulting, a self-owned coaching and consulting business dedicated to helping individuals, communities, and organizations in creating a more just and equitable society.

Roxanne is an adjunct professor of Cultural Sustainability at Goucher College. She specializes in group dynamics, identity construction and dialogue facilitation, and uses these concepts to inform her work in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Using this as her foundation, she supports individuals and organizations who are striving to undo, unlearn, and reeducate themselves in order to participate in building an anti-racist environment where people are free from fear and live authentically in an equitable world.

Roxanne received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Leadership Studies with an emphasis in Human Development from the University of San Diego, M.A. in Organizational Leadership from National University, and a BA in History with a Minor in Ethnic Studies from University of California, San Diego. She is a certified Life/Executive Coach through Accomplishment Coaching. Roxanne lives in San Diego, CA, and enjoys camping, stand-up paddle boarding, and being entertained by her dogs, Koa, Rico and Edge.
