Brittany Harvey
My name is Brittany Harvey and I teach seventh grade history at Statesmen College Preparatory Academy for Boys in S.E. Washington, D.C. I graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a B.A. in History. Part of my purpose is teach and history has been my favorite subject since high school. I came into this profession because I received knowledge of self when I attended my HBCU and changed my major to history. I began to look at the world in a different light and began to carry myself in a different manner. Since I know personally what history has done for me, I would like to offer that to the next generation, and I truly love what I do.
