I am a Nationally Board Certified business teacher committed to 38 years in the education profession. Currently, I am a business teacher and teacher technology leader at my school in SC. I received a B.S. in Business Education from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD; M.S. in Special Education from Hampton University, Hampton, VA; Ed.S. in Educational Leadership Leadership from Cambridge College, Cambridge, MA.; and a doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Gardner-Webb University, NC. My passion is children and I plan to continue to advocate for teachers and students. I love to see students grow and flourish from the direct or indirect impact I have had in their lives. I have served as a coaching teaching and a mentor for teachers. To improve teaching and learning I have served on various education committees, coordinated several IT camps and have received grants to improve student learning. All students are important and deserve to have a teacher who believes in them, love, care, and grow them to their fullest potential with quality instruction. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, cooking and baking, exercising, and reading. I am blessed with three children Christa, Joshua, and Jessica.
