I am originally from up north, but moved to Augusta after living in Florida where I taught for 11 years. I am currently in my 15th year of teaching. I am a Black Dominican-American, and proud to be fluent in Spanish, while representing the Afro-Latinx community. I am most proud to be a Black educator reaching one child at a time! I hold various degrees and certifications that have trained me for this moment. I want to continue to work with my peers and impact teaching and learning in a positive way.
